What’s left after income tax, national insurance and pension.

How it’s worked out

2026 brackets after the bracket-widening law (in force from 1 January 2026). A credit point is worth ₪242 a month. National insurance and health tax for employees aged 18 to retirement: 1.04% and 3.23% up to ₪7,703.00, 7% and 5.17% above, up to a ₪51,910.00 ceiling. Simplified: all gross is work income, the pension contribution is on all of it, no taxable benefits (car, meals) and no other credits. The pension credit is 35% of your contribution, up to 7% of pay up to ₪9,700. The law was published on 31 March 2026 and applies from 1 January, so early-2026 payslips may show more tax. To work out your points, single parents included, see the credit points calculator. Immigrants: on a monthly payslip the aliyah points are 1, 3, 2, 1 by the period since arrival (from 1 January 2022; earlier arrivals 3, 2, 1), worked out here for the current month, counting the arrival month as the first. The temporary 2026 income tax exemption for new immigrants isn’t worked out here.
