How it’s worked out
2.5% and 7.5% are common in employment agreements, not required by law. Employer contributions are tax-free up to 7.5% (8.4% for teachers) of pay up to ₪15,712.00 a month (₪188,544.00 a year, Ordinance s.3(e), 2026). Anything above counts as your taxable income.
