How it’s worked out
Pay over 6 months ÷ 150 is the daily wage. Aged 28+ (younger in brackets) the benefit is 80% (60%) of the part up to half the ₪415 basic amount, 50% (40%) up to three quarters of it, 45% (35%) up to all of it, and 30% (25%) up to 5 times it. Capped at ₪550.76 a day for the first 125 days and ₪367.17 from day 126 (2026). Days by age and dependants: under 25: 50, 25–28: 67, 28–35: 100, 35–45: 138, 45+: 175; with 3+ dependants 138 under 35 and 175 after. Before income tax, national insurance and health tax.
