How it’s worked out
Sick Pay Law: 1.5 days per full month of work, up to 90, less days used. Day 1 is unpaid, days 2–3 at half pay, full pay from day 4. A part month counts pro rata (25 work days make a full month, 21 in a 5-day week). Cancer or dialysis treatment is paid from day 1. A collective agreement may set other terms.
